I'm English so I have noooo idea what happens in American football at all. We're more into Football (soccer) and Rugby. I apologize for my bad attempt at describing the game.
♔September 2: The first football game of the year takes place this evening. It is our rival school so get decked out in North Shore colors (red, white, and black) and show support for our football hotties.
I made my way down the stairs towards Ray and his girlfriend, Jemma. She went to the school that was playing our North Shore team. I'd never properly spoken to her before, I'd seen a few pictures of her, but this was the first time I would meet her.
I pushed past people as I made my way to the spare seat. I was carrying a can of coke which I was trying very hard not to spill all over myself. I finally arrived at the chair and fell into it, Ray glancing at me from the kiss he was in with Jemma. They pulled away from each other and both looked at me, smiling.
"Hi Gabby, this is Jemma. Jemma, this is Gabriella." He said, gesturing towards each of us as he spoke our names. She had short cropped hair which was a bright, fiery red colour. She had dark brown eyes and a small mouth in which she had covered her lips in a maroon colour. She looked like Ray's type from what I could see.
"Hi Jemma, it's nice to finally meet you." I said, putting my hand out in front of me waiting for her to shake it. "Ray talks about you a lot." I added.
"He does, does he?" She replied and then moved in to kiss him full on the mouth again. Suddenly, the football players ran onto the pitch and the game started minutes from that.
I wasn't much of a football fan, but Ray invited me to watch it with him, so I accepted. I wasn't a very sporty person, more into logical things I suppose. The main reason I was actually there was in hope I would see Louis and could confront him about the night of my party.
One of the many jocks from our team kicked the ball over some posts and everyone stood up and cheered. I decided that was the best thing to do, so i jumped and screamed and clapped. I tried my best to act like I knew what was going on.
The game ended a while later and everyone fled from their seats and out of the stands. Our school managed a tough win, but it was good. As we left I spied Louis talking to one of his friends by a tree so I decided to walk over to him.
I headed in his direction and as I got there his friend left and it was just us too.
"Um, Gabriella, hi." He said awkwardly. I wasn't taking this, what was wrong? I grabbed my bag from my side and hit Louis on the arm.
"Louis! Why are you being so awkward around me? What have I done?" I shouted at him. He looked taken aback, confused. Although I knew he wasn't confused at all.
"Ever since my party you've been ignoring me, my texts, being a-" And just then Louis moved in towards me and passionately kissed me. A sense of serenity over whelmed us both, the kiss was perfect. Our lips crushed together, our tongues intertwined and then Louis pulled back. I was startled, I looked so confused.
"I knew that would shut you up." Louis said with a laugh.
"W-w-what was that for?" I asked with a stutter. Although I was confused and slightly startled at the fact Louis had just kissed me, I liked the feeling. Whenever I spoke to him I felt comfortable and felt a funny feeling in my stomach. It just felt right.
"The other night, at your party, I was going to tell you I liked you. Th-" And with that, I kissed Louis.
